TORONTO – November 13, 2007, the board approved scholarships for 3 applicants (descendants of Home Army veterans) totaling $4,090.00 from the Zbigniew Czaplinski P.Eng. fund at the Strategic Charitable Giving Foundation.

During 2006 the Millennium Fund distributed $95,610.00 in various categories. Scholarships for students from thirty Canadian universities totaled $32,000.00. Sixteen organizations received $34,050.00; five Polish libraries and publishing enterprises received $2,255.00; twenty eight schools received $16,800.00. In addition, $10,210.00 from the Orlinski Fund was divided among four recipients: the Polish Scouting Association (ZHP p.g. k), Wawel Villa, the Institute for Blind Children in Laski, Poland, and a scholarship for Polish pilot training at Seneca College.
