Annual grant distribution report of The Canadian Polish Millennium Fund for 2018

TORONTO November 2018

During 2018 the Millennium Fund distributed $196,073.81 in various categories.

Grants for students from various Canadian universities totaled $64,000.

Organizations received $38,900; libraries and publishing enterprises received $1,250; schools received $6,750.

In addition, $8,673.81 from the Orlinski Fund was divided among four recipients: the Polish Scouting Association in Canada (ZHP pgK), Wawel Villa Seniors Residences Orlinski Archive and Museum dedicated to Polish soldiers, the Institute for Blind Children in Laski, Poland, and grants awarded to students of Polish descent enrolled in a professional pilot training program.

The board approved grants for applicants (descendants of Home Army veterans) totaling $75,500 from the Zbigniew Czaplinski P.Eng. Fund at the Strategic Charitable Giving Foundation.

The hm. Barbara Glogowska and Mieczyslaw Stitski bursaries for members of the Polish Scouting Association totalled $1,000.
